This stunning Tudor-style home in the suburbs of Washington, D.C. required a truly unique, yet completely functional kitchen/bar space. Working closely with one of our longtime designers, Christiana Cabinetry seamlessly brought together a modern cabinet style with a soft, organic aesthetic.
The exterior white cabinets brighten the space, allowing significant additional storage while still maintaining a clean look throughout the kitchen. Paired with a warm brown interior cabinet and built-in LED lights under each cabinet, this kitchen marries soft and sleek.
Nature, Indoors
The dark brown cabinets are, themselves, a true showpiece. They feature a flat, slab-style front with touch latches (instead of traditional visible hardware). Each cabinet features a one-of-a-kind finish, made via the unique process of mixing ground-up metal with resin — creating a subtle horizontal wave pattern throughout the cabinet doors. This soft wave plays beautifully with the organic marble backsplash featured prominently, creating the sense that you are escaping into an outdoor landscape or romantic oil painting in this otherwise modern kitchen.
