Grayton Manor

Grayton Beach was designed as a home that feels deeply connected to its surroundings. After living in the community for more than fifteen years and raising their family there, the homeowners set out to create a residence that would honor the character of Grayton Beach while embracing the next chapter of life.

The design process spanned more than two years as the team worked to preserve the site's mature Live Oak trees, protect neighboring view corridors, and ensure the home felt as though it had always belonged. The result is a thoughtful balance of coastal architecture, natural materials, and timeless design that respects both the landscape and the community that inspired it.

The home's material palette was carefully shaped by the site itself. Indiana limestone wraps the base of the structure and continues into the interior, creating a sense of continuity and authenticity that will only deepen as the stone ages. Reclaimed wood floors and ceilings add warmth and character, while custom cabinetry serves as the connective element throughout the home, bringing together traditional materials and contemporary living. Every detail was selected to create a residence that feels both modern and enduring, rooted in place yet designed for generations to come.
