As a space for entertaining family, friends, and clients, this kitchen/bar needed to be functional as well as welcoming. Christiana Cabinetry took the lead in designing and building this show-stopper of a kitchen. The client wanted a break from the traditional cabinetry in the upstairs kitchen. Featuring contemporary elements like a slatted ceiling, open shelving, and a specialty glass cabinet door, this area brings a warm feel to a modern space.
Made to Gather
The homeowner immediately fell in love with the recon Zebrano wood. Along with clean lines and attractive details, it adds an inviting warmth and contemporary feel to the design. The large island offers a space to linger, while the frosted glass in the doors contributes a touch of elegance and polish.
Custom Vision
For this project, frameless cabinetry was paired with our “Amsterdam” door to create a modern, tailored look. Finished with a custom stain, the pieces exude classic sophistication. Frosted glass doors, finished with Polar Snow, crown the sink area providing an illuminated contrast to the dark wood.

A particular point of pride in this kitchen is the upper cabinets. The uppers bleed directly into the ceiling. A key element requested by the client, it was paramount to incorporate the feature into the design. The extra height of the soffit, as well as the deep bottom return running through the length of the cabinetry, produces a designer look. Our ability to recreate whatever a designer specifies offers both flexibility and innovation in all kinds of spaces.
